Kim Stolte

Kim Stolte, R.N., Certified Happiest Baby on the Block Instructor, Creator of the SwaddleKeeper

Kim is a Registered Nurse working with families in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. She has 3 boys, 18, 16 and 8 years old. She has been teaching childbirth education classes for 8 years and has always included information on swaddling newborns. Making parenting easier by providing current, research based information and support has always been her goal when teaching new parents.

Kim & her great nephew Wyatt

Kim O., Sewer

I'm childless, but child blessed. Auntie of 12, Great Auntie of almost 20, and soon to be Great-Great Auntie. I first met Kim Stolte when her boys were fellow Saturday Market vendors. Our paths crossed a few years later when I was attending her child birth class as part of my trek to become a doula. My doula quest was interrupted by several life challenges, but was able to help Kim with her labor tub business which kept me connected to the miracle of life. Another turn led me to being very happily employed, but needing a little extra income to get established in my new-to-me home. Again, I cross paths with Kim. I once owned a fabric/sewing business so had idle machines that were itching for work. As I sew the SwaddleKeepers, I imagine the happy baby (even calling them by name) that will be secure in it's wrap.

Roxanne & her family

Roxanne, Sewer

Roxanne is a sew at home on the go Mom! I am happily married and have 2 children who are in their 20's. I graduated from UCSB in 1980 with a degree in Communications. I have taught Spanish, Music and High School Electives at Horizon Christian School in Hood River for 8 years and have taught skiing and snowboarding in Oregon and Colorado since I was 22 years old. Sewing the Swaddlekeeper has given me flexibility and added income while I know that I'm providing a product that makes the first months of parenting less stressful and more fulfilling. I also like the opportunity I have to pray for the little ones and their caregivers who will receive the Swaddlekeeper I'm sewing! What a bonus!

Autumn, Sew at Home Mom

Autumn, Sew at Home Mom

Autumn has been sewing since she was 10 years old, designing clothing for herself and friends. She is the proud mom of Dena, born February 2006, and lives in Hood River, Oregon with her husband & best friend, Barney. Autumn graduated from the University of Houston Honors Program with a Marketing degree. She moved to scenic Oregon from Texas in 1995 for a job in the microbrewing industry. She recently "retired" from Full Sail Brewing to be a stay-at-home mom!

Cynthia, Production & Shipping

Cynthia, Production & Shipping

Cynthia is happily married to her best friend, Jess, and is the mother of Indigo (born 2002), Scarlet (born 2004) and Judah (born 2006). She graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Elementary Education. She had been teaching for the past 10 years, but after the birth of her son, decided to stay home to be with her kids.

Cynthia enjoys knitting, traveling, singing karaoke and watching roller derby. Working for SwaddleKeeper gives her the flexibility to work from home according to her family's schedule.

She loves the opportunity to work with positive people who understand the importance of family.
